Who is Op. Dr. Selçuk Yüce?

Op. Dr. Selçuk Yüce was born in Kahramanmaraş in 1984. He completed his primary and secondary education in Manisa, and his high school education at İzmir Maltepe Military High School. In 2003, he was accepted into Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA), one of Turkey's established medical faculties, and graduated in 2010 with the title of medical doctor.

After graduation, he began his specialization training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine to turn his passion for plastic surgery into a career. He underwent intensive surgical training between 2010 and 2015 and received the title of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist in September 2015.

After completing his mandatory service following his specialization at Kırşehir Ahi Evran Training and Research Hospital, Dr. Yüce proceeded to establish his own clinic in Ankara, where he began serving his patients. Today, at his clinic located in the Maidan Business and Life Center in the heart of Ankara, he performs successful operations in collaboration with leading hospitals in Turkey such as Ortadoğu, Medicana, and Memorial.

With over 10 years of active surgical practice since 2015, Op. Dr. Selçuk Yüce has performed more than 500 lipedema surgeries, over 500 liposuction procedures, over 500 rhinoplasties, and over 500 prominent ear surgeries. He has experience with over 300 successful cases in eyelid aesthetics, breast augmentation and reduction, facelift, as well as Botox and filler applications. Dr. Yüce serves patients from all over Turkey and also accepts international patients.

Dr. Yüce, among Turkey's leading experts in the field of lipedema, is one of the few plastic surgeons who can diagnose this hormonally-based disease in its early stages and combine VASER, WAL, and PAL techniques. Observing that the vast majority of lipedema patients receive misdiagnoses for years, Dr. Yüce has proven through his clinical practice that accurate diagnosis and a surgical approach that preserves the lymphatic system can fundamentally transform the patient's quality of life.

Dr. Yüce's core surgical philosophy is based on “natural-looking, personalized results.” He individually assesses each patient's facial and body structure to create the most suitable surgical plan.
